Apricot cake
Hey guys!
Now I am here, with a little bit different post. Because this is gonna be a cake recipe. Because I love to cook, bake and these things. So here, int the blog, there will be different kind of recipes. Hope you are all gonna enjoy it!
So here is the recipe.
Ingredients:
- 250 gramm flour (any kind of)
- 2 teaspoon baking powder
- 1 pinch of salt
- 100 gramm white sugar
- 250 gramm yogurt/sour cream (it works with both)
- 2 egg
- 80 milliliter of oil
- a little lemon juice (to taste)
- 1 teaspoon vanilia extract (usually I use more than the recipe says, it is always good)
- And apricot (or any kind of fruit what you like)
How to do it:
1. We preheat the oven for 180 Celsius / 356 Fahrenheit. And butter the form. I used a 20cm*20cm*5cm form, and it became a little bit high. So if you want it a bit smaller, use a bigger form. But if you have a little form, than bake it in two part.
2. Then we mix the eggs with the sugar, and mix it until it became foamy. Then add the oil, the lemon juice and the vanilia extract. Mix it well. After that, add the yogurt/sour cream, and mix it until smooth and creamy.
3. In an other bowl mix the sifted flour, the baking powder and the salt. Then mix it with the wet ingredients.
4. After that pour it into the form, evenly distribute in it and smooth the top. After that put the fruits at the top of it.
6. And the and of it leave it to cool down, and then we can cut it, and eat it.
Etc.: I used whole grain flour, so that's why it os a bit brown.
